Create an album cover and music video visualizer that expresses the patient mundanity of letting go, growing, and coming of age.

SOLUTION

As my first ever solo full-length animation project, I opted for a loop of a plant being watered on a daily basis, the physical manifestation of one's step-by-step growth. The visual direction was 70s inspired to reflect the band's nostalgic funk rock sound. I wanted the title to be dynamic and serve as both the typography and frame of the animation, creating a flexible design language as the cover was used for the album art, music video visualizer, and promotional materials.
